The vast Warner Bros. library, considered one of the best and largest in the world, consists of more than 6,500 feature films, 36,000 television titles and 14,000 animated titles (including over 1,500 classic animated shorts). With Time Warner's acquisition of Turner Entertainment in October 1996, the classic MGM (pre-1986) and RKO titles, as well as animation from Hanna-Barbera, Ruby-Spears and MGM were added to the already prodigious and prestigious Warner Bros.-managed library.
